Brad Lozan

Brad is a pharmaceutical manufacturing operations leader with 15 years of diverse work experience in project management, engineering, validation and quality in the life sciences and health care industries. 

Brad builds and manages high performing teams through recruiting, screening, and mentoring. His focus is on cross-functional team management. He oversees employees in a variety of areas including process engineering, controls engineering, commissioning, validation, and project management. 

Brad is an active member of ISPE in its Greater Los Angeles Chapter. He received his Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University.

Chris Mansur

Azzur Consulting, New England
Chris is responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing projects and employees within the New England region.

Chris has over 21 years of experience working in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical device industries domestically and internationally. His direct work experience includes the areas of quality assurance, validation, automation, and project management. He has a track record of completing projects on-time using an organized team-based approach to provide a high-quality output. He is also experienced in authoring regulatory filings and defending work during inspections by FDA and EMA.

Chris holds a Bachelor’s of Science in BioMechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Ravi Samavedam

Azzur Consulting, New England
Ravi is responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing projects and employees within the New England region.

Ravi has over 15 years of experience in small- and large-scale biopharmaceutical manufacturing. Prior to Azzur, he has held positions at Baxter, Amgen and Shire. His responsibilities included process/cleaning validations and providing technical and quality oversight of drug substance and drug product operations. He has several years of experience with technology transfers, new product introductions, regulatory audits and filings. He has several publications in peer-reviewed journals in the areas of implementation of disposable technologies and process validation.

Ravi regularly attends various industry conferences, primarily as a speaker. His hobbies include golf, trivia and billiards.

Ravi has a Bachelor’s of Science in Biochemical Engineering from HBTI, Kanpur, India and completed the Microbial Engineering graduate program at the University of Minnesota.

Shelley Preslar

Azzur Consulting, Southeast
Shelley is responsible for establishing and maintaining client and personnel relationships within the Southeastern United States.

Shelley has over 19 years of experience in the life sciences industry providing validation, quality, metrology, maintenance, engineering, project management and other support. Her projects have ranged in size and ​technical scope from small start-up projects to multi-million dollar remediation projects.

Shelley is a member of the professional organizations ISPE and PDA. ​Within the ISPE-CASA Chapter, Shelley served on the Board of Directors as Chairman of the Annual Tech Show Committee for two years, serving on the committee for a total of 6 years. ​She has served on the Board of Directors for the PDASE Chapter ​as Past-President, P​resident, S​ecretary and Student Outreach Committee Chairman and Founder.

Currently, Shelley leads the PDA Facilities and Engineering Interest Group, whose mission is advancing understanding of existing and cutting edge facilities and engineering developments internationally by promoting scientifically sound, practical technical information and education for industry and regulatory agencies. ​ Additionally, she serves as a member of the PDA Aging Facilities Task Force​, and is on the 2015 Aging Facilities Workshop Planning Committee.

Shelley’s personal interests include training in Sanshinkai at Karate International in Cary, North Carolina, training in Japanese Iaito Sword technique, spending time with her husband and four children, reading, crocheting, putting together puzzles, hiking, watching movies and going to the beach.

Shelley is a certified PMP with a Bachelor’s of Science in Marine Biology, graduate studies in Physiology with a minor in Microbiology, and a MBA in Global Management. She has also served in the United States Army and Marine Corps.
