Sr. Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description

Responsible for working with our customers and internal business units in a collaborative and consultative manner to develop, Project Manage, document and implement complex DR solutions.

  • Able to clearly and effectively communicate complex technical information to the business and technical resources at a high-level, both written and verbally

Ideal Qualities

  • Advanced knowledge Multi-Tier Application architecture design and interdependencies
  • Skilled at gathering requirements for Solution Design 
  • Advanced Hands on experience: Windows Server, Solaris, Linux
  • Networking, Load Balancers and Firewalls
  • VMWare ESX, Hyper-V and associated DR capabilities including Site Recovery Manager (SRM) 
  • Veritas NetBackup and SAN Storage solutions around Hitachi and 3PAR 
  • Experience with the SDLC process and Change Management
  • Hands on Experience with Oracle and MS-SQL Databases 
  • Must have the ability to analyze technical documentation and identify gaps/risks
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Developing and validating solution architectures to enable the Client to recover their customers business applications 
  • Technical liaison between the customer and Client, managing the Recovery Life Cycle Process (RLCM) 
  • Providing technical leadership and Project Management for to the Customer, by coordinating resources and driving teams
  • Develop customer facing architecture and detailed recovery documentation.
  • Provide thought leadership in the area of DR. During customer engagements, the Sr. infrastructure engineer leads client discovery toward development of comprehensive, application centric Solution Architectures, recovery strategies.
  • Prior Disaster recovery experience in planning and execution


  • 5- 10 years’ of experience:
  • Architecting enterprise solutions from concept to actual build out and operation
  • Working knowledge managing Windows servers, Unix, server hardware and Networking
  • Technical project managing multiple projects simultaneously, timelines and resources
