Senior Maintenance Planner

Location: Greater Boston Area



Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plans and schedules assets in calibration; preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with Divisional Work Order Procedure requirements and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
  • Responsible for setting up of a preventive maintenance and calibration program in the C3ME and RAM System.
  • Develops routine and low corrective work order planning including; the screen of work orders, develop a job plan, functional and operational testing task with support from Plant Engineering, Quality, and EHS members.
  • Administers work orders for maintenance and calibration from issue to closure state.
  • Manages maintenance and calibration planning and coordination activities including generating work orders, maintenance, and calibration checklist, part list, tools, material, parts kitting, manpower availability, maintenance risk assessment form, and duration for maintenance/ calibration task.
  • Troubleshoots front end (Electrical & Instrumentation or Mechanical) utilities and manufacturing equipment.
  • Responsible for the developing CM maintenance tasks and supports the development of Calibration and PM maintenance tasks with the Plant Engineering Team.
  • Works with the Maintenance Engineer closely for manpower allocation on PM/CM and calibration activities
  • Attends daily OMT meeting in Engineering and Operation to communicate and update equipment planning and scheduling activities.
  • Develops Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Annually Plant shutdown maintenance schedules. Monitor and track the work schedule on daily basis to ensure work completion and manage any delay or issue that arise which impact the maintenance plan and adjust when required.
  • Responsible to deliver Global Maintenance KPI’s target as part of the maintenance team.
  • Maintains an accurate, up-to-date backlog status to support the scheduling process.
  • Provide technical support to Maintenance Senior Associate / Associate Engineer to carry out their duties
  • Escalates any abnormal observation pick up during troubleshooting, maintenance or calibration activity or as reported by the maintenance crew to System Engineer.
  • Support in EHS and Quality regulatory and internal audit.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal codes and regulations.
  • Attend and engage in Azzur events and happenings including quarterly meetings and social events
  • Complies with all Azzur agreements, policies, and procedures.


Qualifications

  • Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic /Instrumentation and Control Engineering field.
  • At least 5 -8 years of hands-on planner or maintenance experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment, and a clear understanding of Pharmaceutical or Bioscience related industrial requirements (cGMP).
  • Must be willing to be scheduled for call-outs during non-office hours to support manufacturing emergencies as needed.
  • Knowledge of planning software tools and able to generate maintenance report
  • Supervisory experience in maintenance is an advantage e.g. team leader, lead technician
  • Proficient in Excel, Computerize Maintenance System (CMMS) e.g. Maximo, Infor EAM, SAP EAM, Oracle Asset Management, JD Edwards Enterprise One EAM, BMRAM.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Well versed in GxP and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills, you must be able to interface professionally and appropriately with the client.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; excellent technical writing skills.
  • Highly motivated and organized with high attention to detail.
