Digital Marketing/Search Optimization Analyst

Location: Lehigh Valley, PA

Job Description

The Digital Marketing/Search Optimization Analyst is responsible for deploying and tracking digital and social marketing campaigns and testing and measuring successes of those campaigns.  In addition, the Analyst develops content and analyzes, produces, and measure performance of website content as well as optimize websites through Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to improve marketing effectiveness. Responsibilities include:

  • Plan and execute digital advertising campaigns and employ digital analytics tools to manage and track success of marketing campaigns
  • Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in search campaigns
  • Manage SEO activities such as identifying trends to achieve maximum ROI in paid search engines, and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks
  • Understand clients' value-proposition, products and services, target audience, brand guidelines and opposition content
  • Write and edit text for website and digital campaign content and product-focused copy that entices and engages customers and highlights product attributes, while also focusing on capturing the customer's attention and utilizing current SEO techniques
  • Research and analyze competitor keywords and advertising links, as well as, prepare and present reports  on campaign success
  • Perform ongoing research and provide suggestions for process and productivity optimization
  • Coordinate with staff and client to help develop creative initiatives and provide comprehensive research and data analysis support

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of education/work experience
  • At least two years of professional digital marketing/ SEO related work experience
  • Proficiency with Google AdWords/ Analytics & SEO/SEM; Google certification preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills including copywriting
  • Effective organizational, critical thinking and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven team environment
