Michael has more than 30 years of experience working in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and consulting service industries. As Chief Executive Officer, his primary role is to facilitate new business partnerships and investments for Azzur Group and its subsidiaries. He oversees the complete management process and delivers executive decisions supporting Azzur’s success.

Prior to Azzur, he held high-level management positions in several companies including CQV, and Stelex Inc. Michael uses his expertise in business strategy and quality assurance to ensure proper management and to advance the growth of Azzur Group.

Michael received his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Temple University.

Ryan serves as Chief Operating Officer of Azzur Group. A long-time partner at Azzur, he has been instrumental in the overall strategic development of Azzur Group, initially in the Greater Philadelphia Region, while taking on additional responsibility with ongoing national expansion. In his new role, he collaborates with corporate and service-line leaders throughout the organization to execute Azzur Group’s strategic business plan. Ryan is an active member of several professional organizations including ISPE, PDA, and ASQ, and has been involved with GAMP Americas as a Steering Committee member since 2015.

Ravi Samavedam is a Biochemical Engineer with more than 20 years of experience. Prior to his appointment to Chief Innovation Officer, Ravi served as President of Azzur Cleanrooms on Demand™ and previously was a General Manager of Azzur Boston. Ravi has been a part of technical operations, quality, and validation departments at some of the world’s foremost pharmaceutical manufacturers. He is an expert in phase-appropriate cGMP implementation, process validation, supplier management, and technology transfer. He is an active member of industry and peer groups, and he is a frequent speaker at industry events. Ravi joined Azzur Group in 2012.

lya Vasserman joined Azzur Group in 2016 and currently serves as the Chief Information Officer. He has more than 35 years of experience as an entrepreneur in financial- and software-related professional services. Before joining Azzur, Ilya held various leadership positions, including as a founder and CFO in a life sciences professional services firm, a partner in a software and IT services company, and as a managing member of a real estate development firm. Ilya’s expertise includes many aspects of software design and development, financial modeling, accounting, land development and construction, and investment management.

As Chief Financial Officer, James supports the continued growth of Azzur Group's expanding professional services portfolio. James brings to Azzur Group more than 20 years of experience in leading finance roles at large multinationals raising more than $10B in funding, as well as experience managing more than 75 acquisitions and divestitures

As Chief Commercial Officer, Steve oversees the implementation of commercial strategies across Azzur Group. Steve brings to Azzur Group more than 25 years of leadership experience at life science and Fortune 100 companies, driving strong sales growth and marketing strategy.

Shaleen Parekh joined Azzur Group in 2014 and has more than 20 years of experience working in commissioning and validation, quality, and process engineering.

As Sr. VP of Organizational Development, Shaleen is responsible for leading and serving Azzur Consulting, Azzur Labs, and Azzur Training Center, challenging them to grow and become a best place to work for our Azzurians.

Shaleen is an active member of several professional organizations including ISPE and PDA as well as a board member of Hope for Dementia, a federal non-profit charitable organization that is dedicated to supporting the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of dementia and other cognitive disorders.

Chris Mansur serves as Executive Vice President of Corporate Development for Azzur Group, responsible for identification of new markets, business expansion opportunities, and business development across Azzur’s professional services portfolio.

Chris Mansur joined Azzur Group in 2013 to found the Boston office. Following the 2014 merger with BioSPEQ, he and Ravi Samavedam led the office to steady growth year over year through 2018. In 2019, Chris assumed the role of President of Azzur Consulting to oversee Azzur's national offices.

Throughout his career, Chris has specialized in mechanical C&Q, process and cleaning validation, computer system validation, and quality systems implementation. He is passionate about helping companies solve problems that accelerate their product's lifecycle or project timeline while also helping employees take their career to the next level. He believes that Azzur's experienced team of experts understand the first-hand pains associated with pre-GMP start-up, scale-up, and capital expansion and commercial operations.

As Sr. VP of Global Operations at Azzur Cleanrooms on Demand™️, Dan Dernbach has more than 25 years of experience in life science and healthcare with comprehensive operational expertise. Dan enjoys working with customers to progress their research and development and enable them to get their products into the hands of end-users as efficiently as possible. Dan joined Azzur Group in 2020.

As Vice President of Client Engagement, David Frank is responsible for furthering the growth and maturation of Azzur’s business development and marketing capabilities. He works closely with the executive leadership team to develop client-centric strategies across the organization to meet customer needs. Since joining Azzur Group in 2020, David has served as the Senior Director, Sales and Marketing.

As Vice President of Operations, Shared Services, Ray is responsible the implementation of shared service functions and strategic planning at a corporate level. He has more than 20 years of corporate services leadership experience at Fortune 500 companies, across a number of industries including Financial Services, Technology, and Logistics.

Kym Faylor is the President of Azzur Labs and has over 20 years of experience in managing a microbiology laboratory and assuring compliance with governing agencies, client specifications, and developing the quality assurance aspect to conform to current advances in pharmaceutical, medical device, biotechnology and cosmetic industries. She has an extensive background in microbiology, specializing in validation of microbiological methods and compendia testing.

Kym's experience includes compliance with USP, FDA, ISO, EU, AAMI & AOAC requirements, general microbiology testing, Environmental Monitoring data analysis and trending, and microbiology quality assurance programs. Recent certifications include: Certificate from UCSD in Regulatory Affairs, certified manager of quality/organizational excellence, and certified quality auditor from ASQ. Kym also serves on the Controlled Environments Testing Association as a board member, American Society for Microbiology as a Science Educators Network Mentor & Reviewer, and Society for General Microbiology as a reviewer.

Kym is a member of Regulatory Affairs Professional Society (RAPS), American Society for Quality (ASQ) -Senior Member, Parenteral Drug Association (PDA), Institute for Validation Technology (IVT) and Bio-pharmaceutical Education and Training Association (BETA). She has several publications and has served as a lecturer & trainer for USP <797> compliance.

Allison joined Azzur Group as President of Azzur Consulting in 2023. In this position, Allison is responsible for the overall operations of Azzur’s GMP consulting and advisory offices throughout the country, as well as identifying and developing new offices, solutions, and services required to meet Azzur’s growing client needs.

Prior to joining Azzur Group, Allison spent more than 20 years leading talent solutions, life science-specific integrated operations, and change management for leading workforce solutions organizations, including Kelly OCG and Workforce.

As President of Azzur Labs & Azzur Cleanrooms on Demand™ (COD), Sarah Stevens is responsible for operations and strategy across all Azzur Labs and Azzur COD locations to ensure enhanced services, excellence in delivery, and cross-functional alignment. Before joining Azzur, Sarah held senior leadership roles within the CDMO and pharmaceutical service provider spaces. Sarah holds a Doctorate of Pharmaceutics from the University of Manchester (Manchester, UK), a Master of Business Administration, and a Master of Pharmacy from the University of Strathclyde (Glasgow, UK).

With more than 20 years of experience in life science, Shelley Preslar serves as President of the newly established Azzur Training Center (ATC) in Raleigh, NC, where she leads a team dedicated to providing comprehensive and customizable cGMP training to leading manufacturers. Prior to founding ATC, Shelley was the managing director of Azzur Group Raleigh where she led a team of 30 specializing in consulting services across the product lifecycle in life sciences.

Aside from building a handful of companies in the industry, Shelley has a long tenure of volunteerism and leadership, including multiple positions with the PDA Southeast Chapter over 12 years, including Chapter President, and currently serves at the international level as an Interest Group Leader, Event Committee member, and co-chair for two task force projects. Shelley is a certified PMP with a BS in Marine Biology from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and an MBA in Global Management from the University of Phoenix. She is also a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps

Katie Kiley Brown is responsible for partnering with leaders across the organization to develop and implement long-term marketing and communications strategic vision for Azzur Group and its family of companies. Katie has more than 15 years of experience leading marketing strategy and corporate communications efforts in the life science, healthcare, and industrial manufacturing markets. She joined Azzur Group in 2018.

As Director of Talent Acquisition at Azzur Group, Scott oversees Azzur’s national recruitment team and partners with organization leadership to enhance the development of Azzur’s talent pipeline, which is essential to overall company growth. Scott brings a decade of unique experience to Azzur Group specializing in pharmaceutical and life sciences, manufacturing and distribution, and professional services. He joined Azzur Group in 2021.

Jason Teetie is the Director of Human Resources for Azzur Group. With more than 20 years’ experience in HR, Jason’s worked across multiple industries, including more than eight years in the pharmaceutical industry with the Almac Group. Before that, Jason was an HR leader for Comcast and Active Network, overseeing the growth of Active Network from 500 to 2,000 employees in less than two years.

He has extensive experience with employment law in many states, including CA, MA, NC, NJ, and PA. Within HR, Jason focuses on process improvement, technology maximization, and employee relations.

Jason holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from Messiah College.
